Fuse Forges On!!
“When it all hit, most states deemed construction essential [work],” said Geoff Gordon, executive director. The organization went into action, forming groups focusing on educating Members how to protect themselves. “As a group, we started doing joint calls with Members, giving them guidelines on how to protect themselves. Our Members did a good job,” including learning when to send workers home. Fuse followed-up by providing Members with handcrafted letters they could use to prove they are essential workers.
